Global employer branding specialist Universum recognized Teach for the Philippines (TFP) as one of the country’s most sought-after employers among humanities and liberal arts students in its recently released 2022 roster, making it the only local non-profit organization to be ranked alongside renowned institutional employers like Google, GMA Network, and the Philippine Department of Education. Universum’s most attractive employers ranking was conducted across 58 universities with about 9,000 college students in the Philippines.
This recognition fuels our hope that many of our Filipino youth want to contribute to TFP’s goal of ensuring that all Filipino children benefit from an inclusive, relevant, and excellent education. As an organization working with and within the public education system, we believe in the Filipino youth’s capacity to lead the change for our children and for our country. And so, in modeling the kind of leadership we develop among our Staff, Program Participants, and Students, we espouse integrity, kindness, and humility – the value of listening and learning from everyone and everything, along with the recognition that every individual and every community has a story to tell. At TFP, whether individually and collectively, we are always in the pursuit of operational excellence; as is reflected in the way that we serve our partner communities both from the headquarters and in the field.
There are many ways to contribute to education reform in the Philippines, and joining TFP is one of them. Check out available HQ Staff positions here, or if you would like to work directly with public school communities across the country, apply to become a Teacher Fellow here.
